Sapphire gemstones are really popular in engagement rings. People often choose the famous blue sapphire for their engagement ring, but white and other coloured sapphires are also used sometimes. A princess-cut sapphire engagement ring looks fantastic.

Padparadscha sapphires are peachy tones and are incredibly rare. They're actually the rarest kind of sapphire. This means they're, obviously, the most expensive.

Yes, you can, sapphire is very durable. Sapphire ranks at 9 on the Mohs scale which is, yes, slightly lower than diamonds. However, this is still a very hard stone. This means its not easily damaged and you probably won't see scratches.
